Cavern Diver Course

In simplest terms, cavern diving is the penetration of natural overhead environments while remaining within sight of daylight. It can be the first in a series of courses designed to lead to full Cave Diver certification, or simply an enjoyable Specialty Diver course requiring little more than normal recreational scuba equipment.
Even if you have little interest in going beyond the Cavern Diver level, this course can help you master several important skills, including:
- Exceptional buoyancy control skills, including how to achieve ideal body position.

- Specialized propulsion techniques that help assure minimal impact on the environment.
- Guideline and reel use, which has application in wreck and search-and-recovery diving.
- Equipment simplification and streamlining for greater efficiency, less risk of entanglement and minimal environmental impact.
Your Cavern Diver certification can even get you into sites that are not normally open to recreational divers.
